Author has written 12 stories for General, Haiku, School, and Love. I go by Rae. I live for music and writing. If you've clicked on this to find out about me, here you go. I'm 14. If you're an adult who thinks kids can't write, get off my page. (: hehe. If you're a kid who knows other kids can write, you get a cookie :D. I'm absolutely insane. I'm random and crazy. However...when I write, I usually take a very realistic view. Even my fantasy writings are fairly realistic. Once you get past any magic and whatnot, that is. My characters are realistic because I give them flaws and human qualities. I doubt you'll get to see much of that, though, because I don't plan on posting many, if any, stories. I start them and rarely finish them, because I get stuck. So don't expect them. I'm here for the poetry instead. I'll update Noticing when I get around to it. If anyone is wasting their time reading this. I doubt it. Okay, anyway. I love reading and writing, clearly. My favorite authors are Sarah Dessen, Tamora Pierce, Darren Shan, and Orson Scott Card. Sarah Dessen writes the most touching, realistic love stories I've ever read. But the best part is, she doesn't...I can't describe it in my own words; I'll steal another author's. (I'm sorry I forget who I stole this from, it was an author either from here or ff) She writes "romance, but not for the sake of romance." My favorite book by her is Just Listen. Tamora Pierce has an amazing style. I love reading about women who save themselves and/or others rather than sitting around and letting some guy help her. Plus, I love reading fantasy. I can't choose (oh shit I forgot how to spell choose, I tried to spell choisir from French class...hehe stupid review lessons) a favorite by her. Darren Shan=amazing. Author of Cirque du Freaque (sp?) and Demonata. I LOVE THEM ALL. Orson Scott Card has really good ideas and he writes them really well. I love Ender's Shadow and all of its sequels, though Ender's Game is also really, really good. Oh, and I'd better mention Harry Potter. Yeah, I'm one of those Harry Potter nerds. Yeah, I was excited about the sixth movie coming out. Yeah, I bashed it for days afterwards. I'm still bashing it. The books are great, so I accept the horribleness of the movies. Harry Potter was my first ever favorite series/book, so it gets an honorary place on this list. XD Anyway, just like on my fanfiction. net account (http://www.fanfiction.net/~idancealone) I review everything I read. I'd love for you to review my work as well. I write for my own enjoyment, but I post for feedback. So reviews are my favorite (: | |||||
