A day in the life of any high school student can be torture, but when it comes to the kids at Stallion High School, it can be downright murder.

The certainty is that this isn’t your average high school drama. Never soft spoken, this candid, rapid-fire novel is filled with grit, blood, and inarguably, a lot of charm. Add the drumbeat of gunshots and a litany of inadvertent teen sleuths led by an orphan with a curious past.


For Mike, an orphan who has been home-schooled, the going gets rough quick, but with the chance to make friends, he is willing to put his life on the line. There’s Laurisa, a girl somehow linked to his past, and Tasha, a budding photographer, whose boyfriend, Alex, becomes Mike’s closest pal. One thing is for certain, the four will need one another, because at Stallion High, gangs rule the school and, in that, life moves pretty fast, traditions are deadly, and a kid’s luck can change in the blink of an eye.

When Mike, Laurisa, Tasha, and Alex find themselves smack dab in the middle of a gang war, a series of bloody events will prove more than coincidence and a secret ally will prove indispensable. Though ultimately, when it comes down to waking from the nightmare, the new friends must decide to accept their own fates or endure something far more sinister.
