Konichiwa!

It is I, the mysterious writer known simply as Ambezua. I love anime, adventure, mystery, drama, comedy, sci-fi, and fantasy... Which is why my stories typically have a little bit of all of that! Feel free to browse my stories and be critical. I LOVE constructive criticism. If all you have to say is: that's awesome, or that's terrible, it really doesn't help me become a better writer. I like reviews of all types, but I prefer reviews that tell me where to improve or what I should emphasize more in my work. Lots of people have told me I write well, but few people ever tell me why they think that way.

That being said, this is not the section for me to rave about my lack of constructive criticism. This is the place to tell you more about myself...

I am a writer, of course, but I am also 19 years old and I am attending my second year at UTD. I am majoring in economics, and I intend on writing still in my free time. (nothing will stand in my way, muah ha ha!). I have four siblings, and if you didn't guess from the university choice, I live in Texas. Apart from writing, I also love to sketch although I rarely color my drawings. I can draw scenery quite well, but my drawing of people is limited to rather simple anime characters. I hope to post some of my work (both of writing and drawing) here soon!

I am currently working on one of my most inventive stories to date: "The Hydra and the Rose" It incorporates elements of science fiction, fantasy, classic mystery, utopia/dystopia, and philosophical/moral issues. I cannot say when I will actually complete it, since I have quite a few classes I need to keep up with (so that I don't get behind and loose my scholarship!) but I will definitely have regular updates every few weeks or so. My guess is that it will be done sometime before next summer break.
