Author has written 6 stories for Humor, Essay, Fantasy, Young Adult, and Friendship. ALL ABOUT ME: Hi. I'm Tamisin Beeson (that's not my real name...it's my penname, obviously). I like to write...obviously (again). USER NAME: A combination of the main character, Tamisin, from E.D. Baker's novel Wings, and the last name of the clothing brand Rebecca Beeson. The numbers have a meaning...I just won't say what they mean. AVATAR: It may change, it may not. Depends on what I want it to be. Right now it's Clarice Bean, from the Clarice Bean series by author/illustrator Lauren Child. MY HOBBIES: I have a fanfiction account (search for ElphieThroppDG28), and I'm usually on there writing stuff. If I'm not doing that, I'm watching TV or reading a book or listening to my iPod or doing something completely crazy with my friends. I also really like singing and acting. I'm aspiring, and I haven't been in a lot of musical theater shows, but I plan to try to make it big (although people keep reminding me that my chances aren't very big...but, whatever). STORIES I WRITE: I really like to write realistic fiction (something like Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and reality mixed in with fantasy (stuff like Enchanted). I might post some assignments from past English classes...it depends on if I want people reading them. STORIES I READ: I don't have a certain preferance, but that's mostly because I haven't been on the site for very long. I try to steer clear of any M-rated stories, and likewise with anything that's suggestive and/or contains very coarse language. They're just not my type of thing, is all. Oh, and if I don't like something, I don't review it. If I do like something, I keep my reviews positive and encouraging. FAVORITE RANDOM QUOTES: Quotes from movies/tv/other forms of media: "Let the wild rumpus start!" - Max, Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are "Like you aren't always looking for an opportunity to step on my head!" - Carol, Spike Jonze's Where The Wild Things Are (Carol/KW all the way!) "We were gonna do the show, but then Troy bailed on us, so, whateva!" - Zeke, High School Musical 2 "So young, so angry...DAMN THAT RAP MUSIC!" - Dr. Doolittle 2 William: Nothing you say could ever prevent me from loving you. Angelica: I'm a man. William: Whoop! Gotta go! (disappears REALLY FAST!) - the Nostalgia Critic's review of Titanic: The Legend Goes On... (a.k.a. the really poorly-made Italian rip-off animated movie that is a sorry excuse of a Titanic film) "Maybe it is stupid, but it's also dumb!" - Patrick Star, SpongeBob SquarePants "My mouth is on TV!" - Patrick Star, SpongeBob SquarePants "Chips, anyone?" - Maureen Johnson, RENT "Tina, you fat lard, come get some dinner!" - Napoelon Dynamite "The braver you are, the more you'll see." - advertising for Coraline "Make each day count." - Jack Dawson, Titanic "I know how to spell, Francine!" - Arthur Read, Arthur "Hey, Arthur, want my camel?" - Arthur's Perfect Christmas Quotes by me and other people I know: "Raquel esta enferma!" - some of my former classmates "It's all about that climb!" - my best friend singing (rather off-key) "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus "Get the cashews, or you're out of this party!" - a parody (by me and my sister) on Legally Blonde: The Musical "No, get blown up! You'll die faster." - me making fun of Jango Fett while watching Attack of the Clones "If I weren't such a wuss, your mom'd be here right now." - my dad making fun of Anakin's stepdad while watching Attack of the Clones "Go eat some cheese, Anakin!" - me making fun of Anakin while watching Attack of the Clones I think that's it for now. Um...yeah. See ya. | |||||||
