Author has written 9 stories for Supernatural, General, Nature, Love, Humor, Essay, Life, and Horror.

Um, hi...this is awkward.

I'm Tiffany, an aspiring writer of the comic book genre. Even though FictionPress isn't really "superhero central", I still respect and admire all sorts of writing. I always thought there should be a secret underground lair for superhero lovers and writers, like the Batcave but less creepy and less stalagmite-y. It would be so much easier than having to seek out people who have the same interests as me: all I'd have to do is find out the secret code, get past a dozen hormone injected henchmen, and swim through the river of robotic leeches ultimately finding myself surrounded by double jointed ninja asassins. Or I could just go to a Comic-Con, which wouldn't be nearly as exciting.

Anyway, I believe that imagination comes in all forms and is one of the greatest gifts we humans have. Without it, alot of things wouldn't exist, like windshield wipers or words like "dingbat" and embarassing names parents give their kids, such as "Willowtree". Seriously; that's almost as bad as naming your son Dick and telling everyone that it's based off of Batman's sidekick. Yeah, that AND something else.

I appreciate most forms of writing, but I hate copiers. No, not the machines--if you can't write it yourself, then read it! Creativity manifests in all places. For example, superheroes are the manifestations of most people's desires to become something greater than themselves, but don't have the means to fly or punch someone half way across the room. Superheroes can become so real that it's intimidating--when a graphic novel is good enough, you can almost feel the wind past your ears or the explosion in the center of Metropolis; the thing is, it takes you somewhere else for a half an hour, like drugs only without the destroyed brain cells. So I encourage you to find a really good one; no, not the drugs. If you ask, I'll tell you some of my favorite stories:)

If you want to know more about me, here you go: I love sushi and Auntie Ann's cinnamon sugar pretzels, birds, Family Guy, Avatar the Last Airbender, need I say superheroes, movies, jellyfish, deep space, words like "heron" and "nocturne" and "cyclone", art...I hate math. Despise it because I was never good at it, like sports. I almost shot a basketball in my own goal when I was in middle school. Yeah, that was pretty embarassing...

I hope you enjoy my stories and please give me any feedback, any at all, so I feel important. But please only give me serious comments or concerns about the quality and content of my work. Enjoy!

~Tiffany

Love can bite. If you've ever known it, then it can sting as well.

2. Halloween World » reviews
This is the first chapter of my first complete short story, although it's more of a novelette. This story revolves around this question: Where is the least desired place for characters, creatures, and objects to come to life?

5. The Real Stuff reviews
This is probably the most relatable poem I'll write, which is quite unfortunate...
Complete - Humor - Fiction Rated: T - English - General/Humor - Chapters: 1 - Words: 131 - Reviews: 2 - Updated: 9-14-09 - Published: 9-14-09
6. I See A Man
I always believed that guys grow differently than girls. I think I wrote this poem to say that guys can change in their minds and their beliefs, and that just because one is a total jerk as a teenager does not mean that he'll be one in the future.
Complete - Love - Fiction Rated: K - English - Poetry/Friendship - Chapters: 1 - Words: 198 - Reviews: 0 - Updated: 9-14-09 - Published: 9-14-09
7. Rows of Trees
This is a poem based off of an amazing picture of a nearby forest containing... you guessed it--rows of trees! Although I don't do fluffy, pretty poetry, I'm pretty proud of the turn out. Comment and enjoy.
Complete - Nature - Fiction Rated: K+ - English - Poetry/Romance - Chapters: 1 - Words: 261 - Reviews: 0 - Updated: 9-14-09 - Published: 9-14-09
8. Fire Feet
This story was required for standardized testing practice. I am actually quite proud of it, although it gives me memories of those annoying essays we had to make in a half an hour...
Complete - General - Fiction Rated: T - English - General/Adventure - Chapters: 1 - Words: 783 - Reviews: 0 - Updated: 9-13-09 - Published: 9-13-09
9. A Good Sketch reviews
This story's theme deals with the gut wrenching aspect of death and how it cannot ever destroy love between two people, and how friendship strengthens over time. Unfortunately, the juicy part is near the end, so you'll need to be patient in the reading.
