Author has written 13 stories for Historical, General, and War. Hi there, you who has stumbled across my profile. :) My name is Katie and I am a writer from England. I have been writing since I was about seven and since then, have tried different genres but my favourite to write is historical fiction. Currently, I'm working on a novel called Fighting With Their Eyes Closed set in the 19th century American West, something I became extremely interested in during my History lessons at High School. I hope to carry on studying it and eventually study it in University too. In fact, a goal that I would love to achieve is to become a Professor of American History and/or a historian! As well as this, another goal is to get my novel published at some stage - I haven't began writing it as of yet but so far, the planning and research is coming along nicely! As well as this, I cannot help writing other things on the side. At the moment, I'm writing a story called Protection in a Wild Land which is, again, set in the 19th century American West and is an m/m story. As well as historical fiction, I like writing fiction based on nature and the environment, war fiction (though particularly American Civil War fiction!), some thriller, some non-fiction and anything else that springs to mind! I just love to write, basically :) I read quite a lot as well and could not really pick a favourite book! Anything that interests me I suppose :) Also, aside from literature, I love movies (Westerns are my particular favourites!), music and have an interest in rights, e.g. Native American rights, and protecting the environment. Thankyou for visiting! I hope you have a nice stay :) | |||||||
