I'm Elizabeth Alice. My writing has been on a four- or five-year hiatus, so I'm looking forward to easing back into things via fiction press. I'm sure you all know what I mean when I say it lifts a great weight to be tapping at the keys once again.

I deeply enjoy feedback and connecting with other writers. If you are halfway interested in my stories, drop me a line and we'll talk about them. I'll do the same thing for you. I do take suggestions and requests, so if you have some input on the plot, the characters, what you'd like to see more or less of in the story, shoot me a message and I am likely to listen closely to you. As strange (and perhaps masochistic?) as it sounds, I actually like being called out on my errors, more or less. It pushes me to be better than I am. I firmly believe that any writer who can look at their work and say "Yup. It's finished. All my editing is done." needs to scrape their rose-colored contacts out of their eyes.

As a disclaimer, I do not actually believe I am some divine writer sent from the heavens to rescue all of those beneath me from the dull repetition of Mary-Sues and soap opera plots that lead down winding roads to nowhere. I do, however, believe that everyone here has a desire to be a better writer and I believe anyone with that desire is above both Mary-Sues and repetitive plots.

What I am putting out on FictionPress, as yet another disclaimer, is by no means a story that represents me to the best of my ability. Publishing little snippets of my work, whether effort was exerted in their creation or not, is mostly for therapeutic purposes to overcome my elective inhibitions.
