My name is Kristin.

I'm a nineteen year old sophomore at Western Carolina University, majoring in English with a concentration in professional writing.

I have a wonderful mother, a step-dad, a father that I rarely see, a brother and sister that live with me, a step-sister that lives in Jersey who I get to see during summers and random occasions, three sisters that I rarely see (my father's other children), five cats, and a dog. Oh, and a pretty amazing boyfriend too.

I'm not much of a poetry writer, but since I had to write some for my creative writing class, I decided to put them on here.

I prefer to write short stories and, as soon as I have time to finish some, I'll start putting those up too.

I love: hugs, tacos, mint chocolate chip ice cream, Harry Potter (the series. Ron Weasley is my favorite character.), Jacob Black from Twilight (though the series realllly went downhill after the first book, I still plan on seeing all of the movies), vampires, 80s teen movies, live music, my boyfriend.

I dislike: narrow minded people, ranch dressing, (most) cliche romance movies, really hot weather, annoying rap songs (though I'm quite a fan of Kanye West, Will Smith, and Nelly), annoying country songs (but I really like the Rascal Flatts), the sound of other people making out, being away from home for extended periods of time, anxiety/panic attacks.

Movie: Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Maybe? I'll have to get back to you on this one.
