If you love stories and poems about love, tragedy, darkness, light, war, hate, depression, fantasy, werewolves, vampires, sadness, the heart, pain suffering (everyone is gothic inside, they just don't know it) etc. Then I am the writer for you! My name is Genell and writing is pretty much all I do.

My current focus on writing is my novel called The Shadow's Silhouette. Its about a girl named Ry who goes through all the tragedies in life in world that is somewhat medieval with its monarchy, castles, torture etc, but it has advancements of my choosing, like guns and airships (not like what we have, medieval in engineering). She grows up knowing about this mysteriously dark being known as The Shadow, a thief; a murderer; a selfless vigilante; a wanted man. Under tragic circumstances, he ends up saving her life, and they end up falling in love with each other. Throughout the story there is a war between the two opposing empires of Nasaedera and Irshelc, and because of this war and the fact that the hot headed; self-absorbed king, Ershile, is obsessed with capturing Thuv (The Shadow), who is always interfering with his affairs, They have a hard time staying together. It is a struggle throughout the whole thing for them to stay together no matter what, but everything around them seems conspired to tear them apart, including Ry's secret lineage.

A tale of love, death, war, tragedy, darkness and light that I guarantee will have your eyes and heart glued to the screen, you will laugh (maybe, I suck at coming up with anything funny), you will most definitely cry, and hopefully you will fall in love with Thuv and love him just as much as I do. When I see it fit enough for my likening I will put it on this site for all of you to read and enjoy (and of course I will want you to review) one chapter at a time, but until I get it up on here hold tight and be patient.
