I'm a teenage writer of the most normal proportions. Not really.
I'm a fiction writer and a NaNoer. Writing is pretty much the hobby I partake in the most. I write different sorts of genres, but most of the time there's a fantasy twist in my story. I usually add romance to my books, but have never used romance as the primary plot. I plan to upload stories of mine here in the future, but for now I have set NaNoWriMo as my priority, so whatever I publish before the end of November besides maybe my actual project will be one-shots, if I upload anything before then at all. But know that work from me is on the way!
As for me personally, I'm a fifteen year old WOMAN! Hahaha. I like writing more than reading. I love screamo music. August Burns Red, Burden of a Day, Emarosa, Oceana, Oh, Sleeper... etc... But I find that techno screamo is good writing music. I live right off the beach in Florida. Literally. Gotta walk down my street, cross one road and I'm walking on sand. I know tons of people who surf and I love watching them, but I'm too scared of the ocean to do so myself... Regardless, I love hanging out there. I'm a proud Christian (non-denominational). I really don't have a clue what I'm going to do with my life someday, but I hope that publishing some of my future books will be a part of it.
Yep. I came here by my own free will... wasn't forced by any friends or anything. I actually don't have any other friends who write. D:
So if you're a lonely writer like me, feel free to let me know and I shall befriendth you!
UPCOMING PROJECTS
Unnamed
Progress: Still only a plot bunny infant. Brainstorming being prolonged until after NaNoWriMo.
Genre: Total Fantasy set in around 800AD.
Plot Summary: Still undetermined, all I've got is a handful of cities and creatures I've made up...
Soulbeast
Progress: Plot bunny baby. Some brainstorming done, characters created, time period set, location still unknown.
Genre: Modern Urban Fantasy.
Plot Summary: Hunter, a young man of sixteen, has just received his Marking and his place as a citizen in the gang. The Marking is a Haitian black magic act of tattooing done with the blood of the animal that most resembles the victim's personality. The ink of the animal sinks into the user's bloodstream and they fall deathly ill for a period of a few days. During those few days the weakened human soul is constantly struggling to battle the animal's soul, and the animal is set on killing the human. If the human falls dead, the animal's soul takes over the human body and becomes a monster. But if the human suceeds in the fight, the animal surrenders to him and gives him his body as a prize, and the human can now take on a second form: his soulbeast.
While discovering the abilities of his new jaguar morph, Hunter is also on a mission of finding out everything that happened involving his mother's disappearance six years ago and why his father refuses any of his questions about what she was like or even what her soulbeast was. At the same time, he's trying to win the heart of Luka, a hawk at heart, and on a journey to find out why his cousin is unable to take back his human form again, stuck in the mind of his soulbeast.
Severed Lines/Silver Chains
Progress: A rewrites of my first book but really only uses the same setting. Plot bunny teenager. Prolonged until after NaNoWriMo, but is currently at 23,000 words and up to chapter three.
Genre: Modern Urban Fantasy
Plot Summary: Danica Elise Becker is your average high school student. She's on her way to graduating and she's looking into getting a house--and car--of her own. She has a little brother and two parents that have always been there for her. But even when she accidentally adopts a werewolf? She's not sure.
It was the biggest party since the beginning of the school year, held at the Lucine's Pointe State Park. There were only six days left until Halloween and the moon was nearly full. Strike one.
Danica and her friend, also a Slayer, decide to tag along and soon the beat of the techno music had everybody reeled in. The night sky was nearly cloudless, and the small lanterns on the trees did little to diffuse the moon's bright light. Some human teenager trying to be a hero ends up getting bit by a strange dog in the darkness. Strike two. Which is really no big deal until he comes running to Danica, convinced that she knows why he suddenly changed into a half dog half human hybrid the night before. Of course she does, considering she kills several each day. But her attempts to tell him to keep his new nightly form a secret are quickly refused when he threatens to tell the whole school what's been happening to him if she doesn't tell him exactly what's going on, why, when, how, and what's going to happen to him next. Now Danica's forced to help her new friend adjust to this new lifestyle while at the same time trying to retrieve her brother who was kidnapped by the werewolf pack that lives in the forest surrounding the city.
Strike three, is she out?
Second plot summary: Because the above plot is really using only the same setting my first book used, I will also be writing a rewrite more so according to the first book's outline. So though there are the same characters and setting, there will be different plots, per say. Still working out kinks and will post the second plot summary. I will be using the second plot summary for my NaNoWriMo novel. :D
Road Trip
Progress: Plot bunny baby. Some research done, outline is only roughly sketched out.
Genre: Comedy, modern fantasy, drama.
Plot Summary: Nathan Woodlocke, a witch, not a warlock, has decided to take a few of his close friends on two month long college road trip around the United States in an RV his large family of six no longer uses. All of his friends have different goals that they want to achieve on this trip around the USA before having to settle in back at home in North Carolina for the rest of the summer. Nathan is the closest thing that there is to human on board, and being stuck with six other immortals while roaming the potato fields of Idaho to the big city dream life of Seattle to the California beaches all in two months can get pretty hectic.
How will seven supernatural young adults being stuck in a camper that barely has enough places for all of them to sleep change their views of each other? Will pre-existing love last when the couples are forced to live together for so long, or will their relationships crumble at their feet? Will everyone make it out alive when there are rival species in the house? And where will Nathan's illegally imported Giant African Land Snail stay during their spin around the States?
