Author has written 4 stories for War, and Essay.

Hello. I'd like to welcome you to my little corner of Fictionpress.com. As you can see I go by the name of Joshua Henderson. Not my real name of course, then again all don't all great writers have pen names? Like "Mark Twain" or "George Orwell?" Anyway, more about myself. I came to fictionpress because I want to be a writer. Obvious write? (look ma! a pun!). I as am currently going for my BA in History and minoring in Political Science, it makes sense that most of my pieces are about history and politics. My goal is to be the Modern World's Great Historian! Somewhere along the lines of Livy, Tacitus, Gibbon, Heroditus, or Toynbee. But common sense tells me I am aiming too high...sighs

I'm also aiming to be a fantasy writer. Somewhere along the lines of dark and gritty fantasy (see Lord of the Rings, Warhammer, etc.) I also intend to write alternate history because I am very much interested in "What if?" scenarios.

Anyway, since all writers must start somewhere, I humbly ask you to observe my works and perhaps it will help me become a better writer. All criticism is welcome, so long as it is constructive. And with that I hope you enjoy my writ!
