Hello, all you literature fans out there! What's up?! :P

I just discovered this site about a month ago, so bear with me...

A Little Bit About Me

My real first name is indeed Walker, my last name is on a need-to-know basis. I'm 21 years old, and I live in Memphis, TN, where I attend college. I am currently studying to be a biophysicist, as I hope to work at NASA someday (hey, if you're going to dream, dream big, I say).

In addition to writing stories, I also enjoy reading, playing basketball, playing video games, surfing the internet (how do you think I found this site?), hanging out with friends, watching professional wrestling and CSI, and aggravating the heck out of my family. I am a deeply religious individual, and have a very close relationship with God. However, I don't force my religion on others...I respect almost all religions, even Islam, and can see most of where they come from. The one religion I can't stand is scientology, as I vehemently disagree with most of their teachings.

I'm a HUGE fan of science fiction and comic books (especially Marvel), and you'll see that in my stories. I'm not ashamed to say that I firmly believe in life on other planets--to say that Earth is the only planet in the universe that can support life is not only ludicrous, it's closed-minded and human-centric.

My idols include Jesus, Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, John Locke, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Rachel Carson, The Beatles, Stephen Hawking, Jacques Cousteau and Jack Hanna.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the man whose picture you see in my avatar is Johnny Weissmuller, the first man to play Tarzan in the movies. He and I share a birthday (June 2).

Favorite sport: Pro wrestling (the only REAL sport left on TV...hehehe...), with basketball coming in a close second.
