Author has written 2 stories for Friendship, and Life.

A little bit about myself:

I am a girl (last time I checked) and 13 years old. Ever since I can remember, school has been my thing. On a report card or progress report, I've never made anything less than an A. I'm a self-proclaimed nerd and overachiever. It's just what I do.

I have an older brother who's really cool (when he wants to be) and a twin sister, who is my best friend and my everything. Y'all here might know her as Pink-Amethyst. Please check out her writing; it's some of the best I've ever read in my life.

I am Roman Catholic and have always been very passionate about my faith. I think that now as I get older, it's so much more important to want to connect with God. He is my comfort and my salvation, my Father and my one and only Christ Jesus. He draws His children to Him into His loving embrace, and through my strifes and my suffering His guiding hand is at my side.

"God so loved the world He gave His only begotton son that whoever believes in Him may never die but have life eternal." -John 3:16

"And over all these put on love, that is the bond of perfection, and let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful." -Colossians 3:14-15

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father." -Matthew 5:14, 16

"Act in such a way that the people who don't know God but know you will come to know God because they know you." -a plaque in my friend's living room

I have two passions in life, things I'm sure I'll never give up until my final breath: writing and music. (I'll probably post something soon about music; it's waaaaaaaaaay too long to explain here.) You probably need to know that I am one of the hugest most dedicated Jonas Brothers fans ever (in my opinion). Again, I'll post something later about the Jonas Brothers. The only thing I can say here is that I once heard an angel sing, and his name was Nick Jonas.

I play clarinet (I'm second chair in my school's Symphonic Band) and guitar (I'm still learning this one--I know, like, seven chords, but trust me...if I was allowed to sit down and play those seven chords over and over again until my fingers are blood and bone, I would without a moment's hesitation). I've been wanting to play piano for years now, but music lessons are expensive, and if I had the time, my parents probably wouldn't want me learning another instrument. I love them to death, but they're not very creative...or musical (sadness).

I am the girl who sings "I Want a Hippopautamus for Christmas" between bites at the dinner table. I am the girl who loves Twilight but hates vampires. I am the girl who would throw a punch if you dump my sister. I am the girl who cries at abortion commercials. I am the girl who memorized (or tried to) half the Harry Potter series. I am the girl who sings Jonas Brothers at the top of my lungs into a plastic microphone and doesn't give a pile of kitty kibble who hears me. I am the girl who dances outside in the midst of thunder and lightning just to taste the rain. I am the girl who makes straight A's but is incredibly stupid. I am the girl who believes the pen is mightier than the sword. I am the girl who would die without music.

It seems the only time I can't find inspiration is when I go looking.

Everyone is special, and everyone has their own story. All you have to do is listen. It might save a life.

"It must have been a place so dark you couldn't feel the light
Reaching for you through that stormy cloud
So here we are gathered in our little hometown
This can't be the way you meant to draw a crowd.
Oh why, that's what I keep asking
Was there anything I could've said or done?
Oh I had no clue you were masking a troubled soul
God only knows what went wrong
And why you would leave the stage
In the middle of a song."
-"Why" by Rascal Flatts

Think what you want about this one. Whatever my intention or motivation was, poetry can't speak if you can't interperet it yourself. Let those thoughts flow freely.
