I am Mylene. I am twenty years old. I like being silly, but I tend to fail on a massive scale when I try for it. I also like being many other things. I like fantasy of all sorts, crack pairings, interesting, obscure music, my cat, and sleeping in strange, comfortable places in my own home. I especially love it when my dreams don't involve falling from Wrigley Tower. I still can't piece that one together.

I dislike bigots to point where I am bigoted against bigots. Yes, this is possible. No, I don't go carrying pitchforks into town and lynch the nearest homophobe every time I hear Fox News is still on the air and calling themselves fair and balanced. I like my humor any way I can get it.

Battle For the Sun: Started solely for the novelty of having a non-flamboyant, non-sissy pink-haired male mage. Evolved into a fun story with a sarcastic anti-hero who is adopted by a bunch of inexperienced misfit adventurers/poseurs. They have shenanigans. And may or may not have to save the world by the end of the story, but you know, that's just how it is sometimes. Warnings that aren't on the tin: Ragnar/Cyprian is a feature of the story, and to a lesser extent, there is Ragnar/Mashiro. Sometimes at the same time. Also, chapter eight features a suicide victim who we find, through the wonders of fiction set in a fantasy world, is - gaspshock! - not burning in eternal Hellfire.

Returning Away: HIATUS. Serious hiatus while I write and rewrite and edit.
