Yo!

Well, there's not too much to say I guess. I'm Hikaru, Star's adopted older sister. The name is a penname, not my real one, but it's got some meaning to Star and I, so Hikaru it is. It's a unisex Japanese name, more commonly used for boy's, but I'm such a tomboy it seemed to fit. According to most name meaning websites, it means 'Light' or 'Radiance'.

I've been a writer - mainly of fantasy or sci-fi - since I was a small child. No really. My first story was about a monkey who got stuck in a tree. I was about five. I've written ever since then, and my handwriting has never improved - but I'm paranoid enough that I use mirror-writing in any notebook I take with me. I'm the girl in jeans and trainers bought three years ago, who always looks half asleep and always has a pen, no matter what the impossible situation. I met Star when I entered high school, and was promptly adopted into the family. I've got a protective, big sister complex a mile wide, and any guy who so much as looks at her the wrong way will get freaking castrated, got that? Good. Same goes for any girl, although the punishment may be a little harder to carry out.

Star and I are planning a story to co write, but that will probably go on a different account. I might post some of my practice stuff up here - short stories, ecetera - but most of my long stuff I work on in the hope of getting published someday, so I don't really want to put those on the web.

Can't really think of anything else right now - it's getting a little later in the evening, I've been up since half-five and I'm meant to be studying, so excuse my brain. I think it melted when I first opened my school books XD
