Author has written 72 stories for Young Adult, Life, Love, Nature, General, Fantasy, Friendship, Haiku, Romance, and Thriller. My name is Elyssa Gosling, and i love to write. I am 18 I go through life traveling along my own path that i created myself i can be a follower but i like to lead i love listening to people, and i love helping people I ma probably one of the most stubborn people you'll meet, yet i can be really understanding. I guess you could say i'm nothing but a big walking contradiction :P i'm better at keeping others relationships together than maintaining my own I've been writing only for a few years now. I wrote my first poem in grade 6 about a little boy who was killed in a car accident, and maybe that's what started my love for writing sad depressing stories and poetry. I don't really know. But if you read my stuff, you'll noticed a pattern, but then again, i think most writers are like that. I'm probably one of the weirdest unusual people you will ever meet, but that's me :) A lot of my books and stories come from my own life. i find that writing about my own experiences and feelings is a lot easier then trying to create something from thin air. I base my characters on real people for the most part, and i take scenes of my own life and incorporate them into my poetry and novels. I'll take this opportunity to let you know that a lot of my stories have formatting that may be difficult to read. Example, paragraphs are slightly large :P...it is the website that does that and i apologise. A little bit more about me: Favourite Color: Red and Blue Favourite Books/Authors: Sarah Dessin is one of my favourite Authors. She wrote The Truth About Forever and Just Listen which were amazing! Kelly Armstrong is great as well, her writing at least. Elizabeth Chandler who wrote Kissed By an Angel and the Dark Secrets Series, as well as Summer in The City which is my favourite romance novel. Favourite Music: My favourite band would be Red, but i also like... Honestly, Standard Candle, The Script, The Highway Beautiful, Falling Up, Artist vs. Poet, Boys Like Girls and many others. My favourite singers would be Brad Paisley, Britt Nicole, Damian Rice, Ferras, Jason Walker, Landon Pigg etc "you see things; and you say ' why?' But i dream things that never were; and say 'why not?' Stories that i am currently working on: A Truthful Lie: It's about a girl named Charlotte Prowl who goes through life building up this wall to block out the world. She creates herself as a false, a lie. She makes the world believe she is someone who is perfect. Who cannot be broken, who is amazing, happy and joyous. But of course, this is not true. She spends her days as a cheerleader at Medington High School. She flirts with guys, chats with the girls and goes along with the gossip. She spends her nights in her room, listening to her parents' constant fighting. She deals with the death of the only person she's felt she's ever loved and she hides herself. Then, she finds a miracle. A boy named Trystan who seems to be the only one who sees through the wall she's created for so long. He understands what she feels and is there, and he gives her hope. She finds herself falling for him, and watches him follow along behind her journeys and troubles through the story. Swimming In Richness: Rachel really does believe in love at first sight, and that's what it's like with Blare. Although she finds it hard to believe she's falling for someone so soon after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, Tyler, who abused and raped her for so many years. Because Rachel is so prone to pain, she finds herself being magnetized to other who feel the same way. With no help from her family, whom is also quite abusive and hold no love in their hearts for Rachel, she goes through a heartbreaking, but very loving journey to find herself and the strength she knew she always had in her. A Love Buried Beneath/ Sinking Into Silence/ Untitled: A trilogy that holds in it love, loss and murder. A Love Buried Beneath:It begins with Angelia Roberta. A smart, pretty girl who's just trying to get through life and high school. She lost her mother in a car accident when she was 2 and has been taking care of her dad since she was old enough to reach over the kitchen counter. On her first day of high school she encounters a cute dark haired student who she is immediately attracted to, Jonah, but hidden beneath his deep green eyes and adorable dimple smile is a secret so depressing, so sad he just can't bare to tell his soon to be love. Sinking Into Silence: With Jonah gone, Angelia Roberta has to try and move on. She begins her new life with a new personality, new style new friends but at the same school. People stand on the sidelines watching her change, and curl into something she isn't. They watch her go from fun to fatal. The death of Jonah was too much for her, but there may be some light up ahead. Although secrets unravel and truths begin to reveal themselves, as each life is taken, her and her new lover, Ben, run through horrid disasters trying to save the lives of each other from another love in Angelia's life. Untitled:The end is near for Ben and Angelia. Hidden away in an alley just outside New York, they fight for their lives and for each other. Like Romeo and Juliet they stay together, hoping one day their freedom may come, but sadly there is more tragedy than love.
