I am completely redoing my profile, since I basically have had all the same stuff on here from two years ago, when I was eleven, and I am now 13. So whoope-dee-doo.

My name is Tara. My friends call me Stan or Staniel sometimes, my pen name is Raxta Pura. Some of my friends call me a buzzkill because aparently I kill their buzzes.

I had writers block for a while, and school. Homework is a pain, but now I'm out for summer and I am going to write until my hands fall off. But I am making no promises that I will update every other day or something outrageous like that. I actually have friends who I enjoy hanging out with this year, so I might actually have something of a life. I also have a summer job of taking care of my neighbor's dog.

People say I am a good writer, but I want to get better. I won first place for my county with a short story I wrote, and second for the same story in the state. I think I have improved alot over the year or so I've been on this site, though, and I think I've come a long way from my first story to my newer ones. I plan to finish and publish a novel before I turn 15. Right now, that is my main goal. I don't really care if it's popular or not, because popularity doesn't necessarily mean good. Most of you should know what I mean.

My characters are like my kids from my brain. I love them dearly. I think I love my villians even more at times. Let's face it, villians are what make the story. If you don't have a good villian, you don't have a good story (usually).

Update 8/03/11- Unfortunately, I missed my one-chapter-per-month deadline, so now I am behind. I haven't been writing as much as I wanted to this summer, and I'm scared I won't be able to finish this story and make it as good as it can be within my goal. I am going to have to start making two chapters per month now if I want to finish this story. It's serious face time. B[
