Author has written 43 stories for Sci-Fi, Mystery, Humor, Humor, Life, General, Nature, Fantasy, School, War, Horror, Mythology, and Love. Hello, and welcome to my profile page! While I do have a name, I tend to make a habit of not bandying it about online, and so for simplicity you may call me Alexander D.C. Apart from that...what't to say? I'm a college student, and I write. It's just something I like to do. It feels good, like eating chocolate. It also makes me feel more alive. Again, like eating chocolate. However, unlike eating chocolate, and this is kind of a big one for me, it actually has some kind of notable positive result. I am currently a college student attending Brandeis University. (You can look it up.) So far, I write mostly short fiction, poetry, and satire, but I hope to branch out to long forms. I've had The Big One brewing in my head for quite a long time, but last time I tried to write it, it rapidly became apparent that I was nowhere near skilled enough. Yet. Until that point, I'm working up to it. While everything here was made with some sort of unique idea or intent, all of them also serve as practice for me. See, I want to get better, and I believe that practice and feedback help quite a bit. As a corollary to that, constructive criticism is appreciated. Heck, I'll take deconstructive, subversive, or destructive criticism too; at least it increases my publicity, so review away. Enjoy! | |||||||
