Author has written 7 stories for Romance, Supernatural, General, and Young Adult.

My writing is of mixed quality and genre. I'm not satisfied with any of my writing, though I see more flaws in some of my stories than others.

I'm also on palindromeisntone.tumblr.com, which is the place for rambling or notices that don't make it here, I guess. If you want to know the next thing that will update (probably) click the 'Likely pending updates' link on the left hand side and look at the top post.

Notice(s):

Exams and other series things. Ugh. Don't even ask.

My not-really-a-project project:

I have a vague desire in the back of my head to write at least one thing for every genre, just to try it out. So far I've covered Romance, Humour, Drama, Tragedy, Hurt/Comfort, Supernatural, Angst, and Friendship.

So that leaves at least Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Mystery, Parody, Family, Crime and Adventure (Horror, Thriller/Suspense, Historical, Western and Spiritual seem highly unlikely for me to write even just to try). I would also like to attempt one werewolf and one vampire story - just because.

Story notes:

These won't be anything particularly important, just little additional thoughts on my stories. Essentially for bunging stuff when I don't want to clog up chapters with too much/any A/N. I'll leave proper analysis to any critics.

In order of publication:

Qualified: -complete- A short, feel good story. My first story here on fictionpress. If you want to know what the lighter looks like use Google Images to search 'Zippo lighter, high polished chrome, venetian design.' I sort of came across it after doing a little research, but it was exactly what I was imagining. This sort of light romance/humour genre is my favourite.

Sentimentality: -complete- -last 2 chapters edited April 2013- Originally a writing experiment, born from an impulsive idea one afternoon. I had very mixed feelings about this story (more than my other stories), and I wasn't sure I'd done it justice or liked it at all when I first finished it. Whilst I'm still not sure how I feel about the story I am glad that I finally went back to edit and improve the flow of it (well, the last 2 chapters of it were the ones that needed it I thought). I shall simply finish this note with a lingering poetic thought this story prompted: Some stars are so far away that by the time the light reaches us and we can see it, the star is already dead.

German translation now available! (OMG!) Courtesy of Herzschlaege. Here: http://www.fanfiktion.de/s/50747d500000d4bf0c906978/1

April 2013 Note: That is now a translation of the old version and therefore will be significantly different in certain places regarding the last two chapters, especially the last. The major plot points will, however, be essentially the same.

Holding: -hiatus- A ghost story, but not focusing on the/any horror.

The Trophy Husband: -complete- The first chapter was initially a tumblr only snippet (impulsive sit and write in one go things, short length), but ImmanenceEnsured asked me persuasively to fix up an alternative happy ending. Given the new length I decided to put it here. [I would also like to tweak the second chapter with some editing at somepoint maybe...but we'll see]

The Photographer: -complete- One-sitting write. Can't see it getting many reviews, but it was satisfying to write at the time. I like something of the style of it, I guess, and the way the narrator sees the world. It doesn't really fit into any genre at all, damn the thing.

Rain and Fall: -complete- Another one-sitting write. It rained the day I wrote it, and then the summary thought occurred to me, and then it went from there. Rather sweet.

As A Friend: -undecided status- A different style, again, exploring a debatably borderline-slash friendship dynamic. Not sure if this story will continue or not, or for how long if it does.
