I'm a genre jumper and a bit of a formalist. Writing the same story or same style all the time would drive me insane. I consider myself a novelist, but I have some hope of getting paid for my novels. So I will probably save this page for shorter or supplemental works.

I have one published Non-Fiction title "Living Single on Minimum Wage" (a budgeting book for low income singles) and for about 5 years wrote a financial blog for low income singles called The Minimum Wager on livejournal, but my first love is fiction.

My first fantasy novel Seventh Night is currently being edited and in a second round of beta testing by a small team of generous souls. To get myself back into that world and hopefully stir up a little interest for the novel, I'm writing a 4 story set (as a weekly serial) which will delve into the backstories of certain characters. The plan is to update weekly, usually on Friday.

These stories can be read independently, but they were planned as part of a 4-story set. Originally I had planned to post all 4 stories as free-to-read on fictionpress, but I'm having second thoughts. The 3rd story contains major novel spoilers, and I'd really hate to lessen the novel experience. There's a good chance Horse Feathers will also be a 30 chapter story or 7 to 8 month serial...so I've got some time to think it over.

Offline, I'm a substitute preschool teacher and technically a C.E.O. (I am the boss of me but no one else). I'm slowly working on my own educational system, and I love psychology. Sort of an all around nerd. I also design T-shirts for print on demand sites like cafepress, zazzle, and printfection. My two best gal pals are far more talented artists than I, and I host some of their designs on my shops too...as well as some by Nate Connell, who drew the comics for "Living Single on Minimum Wage" (every budgeting book should have comics).

Review Swap Notes: Only doing review swaps through Roadhouse, and only for "The Girl With No Name" and "Horse Feathers". Be warned, I'm a very honest critic. Be sure to designate if you want General Feedback (light) or a Pro-Level Critique (nitpicky and harsh). I don't read M, but will consider T level chapters inside an M story.
