What's up, I'm James and I guess I consider myself an all around entertainer. I can play seven instruments, sing, write, record music from home, and I've recently tried my hand at stand up comedy. But my focus here is just to get better at writing and finally use up some characters that I've been holding onto for years, almost as split personalities.

Right now I'm working on the story of Jason, a man who gets an incredible chance to move back to his hometown and make stupendous amounts of fraudulent money with his new friend and mentor, while using their careers as musicians to cover up their secret life of crime. Most of my inspiration for this comes from the fact that I always love to root for the so-called 'bad guys' when significant crimes take place. So basically, while everyone else was hoping that police would finally put a stop to Christopher Dorner, I was cheering him on, (though if his arguments are correct, he really isn't the bad guy at all. I live near LA. Those LAPD are pretty fearsome dudes.) The other reason comes from my own personal experience of having tons of various 'mentors' throughout my life who taught me about how to get away with anything.

I love talking to people, though I'll be the first to tell you I'm not cut out for a social life. I can talk to women just fine, but that's all I got.

I supremely enjoy to talk about any kind of music with anyone. Those are the best conversations because everybody I've ever met seems to listen to music. My five favorite genres (ska, grunge, alt punk, reggae, and r&b) are pretty out there and i'll listen to just about anything besides electronica, indie pop, or country music.

As my avatar may already tell you, I am a big fan of the New Jersey Devils and I can and will talk hockey with anyone all day long.

1. Jason Goes Back To Reno »
Jason's life has been one big question mark up until now. He sort of remembers his parents, who lost custody of him at age 13. His older brother and sister went on to better things and left him behind with his aunt in Fort Worth. He's always been an outcast, taken in by various cliques in his teens. But a trip back to his hometown of Reno might be just what he needs to start fresh.
