Author has written 8 stories for Biography, and General. What would Marzipan Meadows do? I had never considered myself a writer before. That is until I realized that someone was reading my words. Through writing, I've discovered more about myself in 6 months than I did in 6 years. I have since learned, who I am, where I have been, what I have seen, what I have done, and the people I have met make up the sum of my experiences. Not a particularly emotional person, I have learned how to express them in stories. Thanks to all the critiques and reviews I've received thus far, I am finding out how to paint a picture with a few words. I have written only fan fiction for TV shows. I like to think I have an actor in me. Hope you enjoy what I write. PRODUCTION NOTES: Shanghai Interlude: Revisited My first stab at original fiction had a weak plot. The realism in the setting came from memories of our China home life going back to the 1970s, so I had a lot to draw from. As I became stuck in writing my second story, the helpful suggestions on how to improve this story was put to use when I reworked it in March 2013. Sticking close to the title the second time, I have made the story a true interlude. The Living Bride Returns A multiple character piece. I am very stuck on this going forward. Having figured out how to integrate myself into the first story, I hope to do the same here. Especially since, there is even more incentive to proceed now. | |||||||
