my name is anna. i sometimes like it, i sometimes hate it.

i am scared to death of standing out, but terrified of blending in.

you're reading about an alabama girl, always have been one and always will be one. i take pride in being a southern lady with morals and self-respect.

and yes, alabama is in the bible belt. but that does not mean i preach the bible or am christian or go to church every sunday. i personally don't like the idea of religion, therefore...i'm un-religious (or what i like to call, a free thinker).

i'm easily overlooked. at school, at home, at public places, everywhere.

severely allergic to nuts. i wouldn't put it on here, but sadly it's a big part of who i am.

people say i'm wise beyond my years. i think i believe them because i feel like a fifty year old woman in a class full of ninth graders.

i love all shades of blue and most shades of green.

call me a wimp, but i have a long list of fears. heights, public speaking, clowns, dolls, failure, the future, being alone, never having my own family, myself.

my dream is to become an author (although i know it will never happen).

i believe you're never too young to have 'dark days'.

my favorite things are things that normal people would overlook. the smell of a new book, fog, peaceful graveyards, the once-a-year gem & mineral show, red & orange & yellow autumn leaves, etcetera. but no matter how much i try to enjoy these things, something that i hate always wants to get in the way.

maybe i was once a happy person when i was a child, now i don't think i am. i realized that life is cruel and there's only so much to be happy about. i don't want to waste my rare happiness on stupid things. so i'll just save my happiness for a spectacular moment. i hope my spectacular moment comes sooner rather than later because i don't think i'll make it to later.

"I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions." -Unknown {this quote is just so me}
