Yes, I'm the same ShaperV that publishes on FF.Net.

And yes, I'm finally writing again. Real life was getting in the way for awhile there, but I'm hoping to get back to my regular every-other-week update schedule now.

An experimental story involving Sufficiently Advanced Magic, badass babes and a zombie apocalypse. What more could you want?

A Walk in the Woods - Ch1 in rough draft, Ch2 in progress
In your typical fantasy world the Chosen One can defeat the Big Bad by undertaking a Perilous Quest to the Realm of Terror to destroy the McGuffin of Doom, whereupon good triumphs for an age or two.

This is not that kind of world.

In this world, the only way to stop the forces that threaten humanity with extinction is to actually defeat them. There is no deus ex machina waiting to explain the world's lost mysteries to a wandering hero, no benevolent gods ready to swoop down with blessings and support, no prophecies foretelling the coming of the heroes who would save the world.

But real heroes choose themselves.
