| Raonaid Luckwell |
Author has written 8 stories for Fantasy. I'm no stranger to fictionpress. Most of the people I had followed here went on to higher and better things, evolved into doing things differently, or stopped writing all together. I still write, mostly for my own benefit, mostly to keep myself sane or to keep myself from getting bored. One can say even I evolved from what I was when I first started in 2001. There is no grand illusion or goal to be published. I just write for writing sake. Yeah, it'll probably suck but meh, that's the author/writer's progative I guess. Why the pen name Raonaid Luckwell? When I first started I was Raonaid D'vhid. Gaelic and drow. The two just did not compliment each other. Then I decided to go with gaelic and gaelic. Raonaid Siofra. I know how to pronounce Raonaid but not Siofra. I've had many people ask me how it's pronounced. To be honest I have no clue! Hence why the third name change. Raonaid, pronounced Reuneetch, is Scots Gaelic for my birth name. Luckwell was my grandmother's maiden name, so it holds special meaning to me. | |||||||
