Hello, Makani Blancarte (or Orifiel) at your service. I'm more active over on FF.net and Deviant Art, but this is where I occasionally post the salvaged atrocities... er, I mean the rewritten versions of some of my old writing from my college days.

This pen name is actually used as my self-insert in the collaborative Mass Effect fanfic "Galactic Life, and Reapers." In the year 2183, on a futuristic space station called the Citadel, Kani Blancarte works as an androgynous flair bartender with a charismatic nature and a sordid reputation for chasing after other women. Her closest companion is her bodyguard and primary lover, a temperamental, muscled hulk of a man named Jesper "Krieger" Erikson. As the two navigate the complexities of their relationship through heated quarrels and passionate nights, fate steps in with the demons of Kani's past to tear apart the life they've worked so hard to build together.
