My profile picture, just so you know, is the original 21 Jump Street team. Saw the movie, thought it was funny, but I honestly prefer the TV show--and I'm 16!

So, this is basically where I'm going to post my non-fanfic stories, as well as any songfics using my OCs (no duh).

My main characters from my JLN Ranch series, Lynne, Devon, and Eliza, also have guest appearances on Karaoke Night, a NCIS collaboration on FF with Valkyrie-chick. Summary: The team is hanging out at one of their favorite bars . . . and it just so happens to be karaoke night. Of course, Abby persuades everyone to try it, and hilarity and surprising truths ensue.

About My Series

JLN Ranch

Basically, Lynne Acton and her family move from the city to the Rocky Mountain foothills of Colorado. She and her horse, Starfire, make new friends and have several adventures along the way, some fun, some dangerous, and most of them mysteries.

I'm thinking the age range is 9 and up.

Dark Agent

Maria Valdez is a NCIS Special Agent with a secret: she's a Shifter, a species of beings that transform into animals (her clan's animal is the wolf). What's worse, humans have discovered her kind exists, and are bent on planning their destruction. And, oh, yeah, her partner is captured during a case and is turned into a Shifter--something she didn't even know was possible. Now she has to deal with teaching him about his new world along with the threat from the hunters.

It's kinda inspired by Rachel Hawthorne's Dark Guardian series, and Team Gibbs will hopefully not play any part in Dark Agent. *sniffle* Sorry, huge NCIS fan.

It takes place in my homestate of Colorado, but places will be used fictitiously. And, oh yeah, ABLSOLUTELY NO RESEMBLANCE to the *gag* Twilight Saga. *shudders* Please don't make me say/type that series' name again. How that series had so many followers is beyond me. I mean, the heroine is pathetic and the hero is a creepy bloodsucking stalker. I just like it because of the werewolves, and even then, at least half the pack turned into perfect people in the fourth book. Come on, there is no way anyone is that perfect in real life. I prefer Andrea Cremer's Nightshade trilogy, even if I hate Shay Doran. Okay, I think I'm done ranting now. :D

Unfortunately, a rowdy gang attends said school, and it’s suspected they’ve committed a heinous crime. When a storm sends the surrounding district into a blackout, Tom and Kate find themselves trapped— with the gang on the loose. Insipired by the 21 Jump Street episode “Blackout,” aka “Business As Usual.”

Character Descriptions

JLN Ranch series:

Lynne Acton: lean, athletic build, very smart. She has wavy, shoulder-length dishwater-blonde hair and blue/green eyes (one's blue, the other's green). Lynne usually dresses in jeans, T-shirts, and tennis shoes, unless she's in the barn, in which case it would be cowboy boots. Aged 13, 14, & 15, as the series progresses, considering I have it jumping around from December to October and back again. Her horse is Starfire, a sorrel Quarter Horse mare with a flaxen mane and tail, four white socks, and a large star on her forehead.

Devon Sharpe: lanky teenager; short, dark brown hair that often looks as if she's cut it herself with a pair of safety scissors, fair skin, and hazel eyes. She often dresses in torn jeans, black T-shirts, and wears a choker around her neck. Her horse is Comet, a bay Thoroughbred mare.

Eliza James: the group's practical joker. She has long, highlighted blonde hair, an athletic build, tan skin, and mishievous light green eyes. Like Lynne and Devon, she's progressively 13, 14, and 15. Her horse is Flash, a black tobiano Tennessee Walker gelding.

Jake Black: Introduced in "Phantom Horse." He's the new groom at the stable. Jake is two years older than the protagonists, which puts him at ages 15, 16, and 17, respectively. Has black hair and blue eyes, and often wears a black leather jacket, a white T-shirt, and torn faded blue jeans. His horse is Moonshadow, a black Quarter Horse gelding with a white stripe running down his face.

Dark Agent series:

NCIS Special Agent Mark Hanson: leader of a NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) MCRT (Major Case Response Team) located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He's in his late forties, with blue eyes and graying brown hair. Agent Hanson often stays up late working on his latest wood project, usually kept in his basement. Before joining NCIS in 1996, he was a Navy SEAL.

NCIS Special Agent Andy DeMarco: Hanson's senior field agent. DeMarco is thrity-five, has a lean, athletic build, black hair, blue eyes, and usually dresses all in black. He loves movies and often quotes scenes at somewhat awkward times, but his knoweledge in all things cinema also can be quite helpful in cracking a case. Special Agent DeMarco worked as a private investigator (P.I.) for three years before joining NCIS at age twenty-seven.

NCIS Special Agent Maria Valdez: the team's junior field agent. Valdez is a second-generation Chicano, aged twenty-seven . . . and not exactly human. She was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, and worked as a cop in the CSPD for two years before signing on with NCIS at age twenty-four. Of the team, she's the only one who can shape-shift into a wolf at will, and plans on keeping her kind's existence a secret.

NCIS Probationary Agent Tom McGurn: The team's probie and computer geek. McGurn is twenty-three years old with a medium height, slighly chubby profile, and has wavy, short brown hair with green eyes in a oval-shaped face. He worked Cybercrimes as part of the Bureau's VICAP unit (Violent Criminal Apprehension Program) and helped update CAIN (Crime Artificial Intelligence Network) before being assigned to Hanson's team.

Dr. Harry H. Holmes (H.H. Holmes): the medical examiner. He's in his early fifties, and what they call a "dark" Irish, meaning he's Irish, but has dark hair. In this case, his black hair is streaked with gray and he has brown eyes. Dr. Holmes often talks to his patients to help pass the time, even if they don't talk back, and is known for launching long tales about his youth in Ireland.

Jim Steiner: Dr. Holme's assistant. He has touseled auburn hair, glasses, blue eyes, and is in his early twenties. Steiner is very eager to learn, but is infamous for mixing up directions on the way to a crime scene. He has a more quiet personality than his mentor.

Amy Stanton: NCIS forensic scientist. She has long, dark blonde hair that she usually wears in a braid and has blue eyes. Amy is very hyperactive and is addicted to Starbucks coffee.

Janet Garcia: the Special Agent in charge of the Colorado Springs field office. She's a redhead with green eyes and was Hanson's former lover.
