In my opinion, this is who writers are:

We fall asleep with the color of the sunrise, We count the years on circles under our eyes. We dream in shades of blue and gray, We speak in tongues of metaphors and stories We bleed the ink of subtle allegory, We are the needle in the hay.

My biggest writing influences to name a few are Fyodor Dostoevsky, Alexandre Dumas, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and of course my mom, who is an author herself! :D I enjoy writing prose, and some of the poems I write are converted into lyrics for songs, as I enjoy composing music and play both piano and guitar. I occasionally incorporate song lyrics into the pieces I write and I've got plenty of musical influences as well: The Beatles, The Black Keys, City anf Colour, Rise Against, Billy Talent, Led Zeppelin, The Killing Tree, The Distillers, Senses Fail, Adele, Clint Mansell, Hans Zimmer, Antonio Pinto, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart...and the list goes on!

Some of my favourite movies: Modern Times with the genial Charlie Chaplin, all the Godfather movies, Falling Down, V for Vendetta, Law Abiding Citizen, Inception, Amadeus, The Man in the Iron Mask, Gladiator, The Road to El Dorado, Lion King, The Professinal (or Leon, as it's known in Europe), Forest Gump, The Green Mile, Casualties of War, Love Story, American Beauty, Black Swan,Revolutionary Road and There Will Be Blood.
