He enjoys a challenge, but rarely finds one - until Ember arrives. Name: Sherry Anderson Age: 16 Nationality: Technically English. Lived in Scotland until moving to Acorn Hills with Ember. Species: Human Other Info: Sherry is kind-hearted and friendly. As Ember's best friend, she is used to Ember's acerbic personality toward others, and is unendingly loyal to her - even when Ember's resentful attitude toward Reid makes things difficult for her and the boy she's crushing on, Ricky, Reid's best friend. Name: Ricky Sanders Age: 17 Nationality: English Species: Vampire (Born, not made) Other Info: Ricky is Reid's life-long best friend. He is Reid's opposite in many ways: he's level-headed, sweet, and sort of shy. He often tries his best to buffer Reid's more impulsive, reckless attitude.
