Well, hello. I'm Somiena (Soh-MEE-nah or Soh-mee-en-ah, whichever pronunciation you choose for my pen name).

I'm 17 (almost 18) and I love writing, reading, art, and food.

I have a strange fascination with certain things, such as scars and the word pulchritudinous.

My favourite drink is iced tea (homemade only), but I do love Dr. Pepper.

I don't really know my own taste in music, but I'd probably say my favourite bands include Kutless, Relient K, Switchfoot, Skillet, Hello Kelly, Hawk Nelson, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Unhindered. Yep.

I have a tendency to forget what I'm thinking halfway through the thought, so it takes a little bit longer than it should for me to write (I have to do extra editing to fix where I accidentally change tense or thoughts in the middle of sentences). I also write whatever I think or hear, so I have to be careful what I'm listening to when I write.

I think I'm pretty much done here. I'll probably add more eventually, I guess.

Oh, I figure I should tell you that my favourite thing is to write poetry, but I've been continually getting more and more into story writing. Thus, I got an account on here (after my friend suggested it).

Note: I'm planning on trying to add new chapters/stories/poems at least once a week, but if I don't I probably have a reason not to.
