I'm a female in my early 20's and live in the United States in the midwest. My day job is working with kids with behavioral troubles and it takes a LOT of time/energy. I'm going to be attending graduate school in a couple years and probably eventually obtain a license to practice mental health--essentially the state saying I'm a qualified therapist. I'm an avid gamer (so sometimes I don't have a lot of time for writing). I've always loved to write and have worked on workshopping sites in the past, mostly East of the Web uncut until it went down. My reading preferences are mostly fantasy/sci-fi with some mystery and horror thrown in. I prefer fiction to nonfiction, but I'll read just about anything except for poetry. I write mainly urban fantasy though I do dabble in some high fantasy and science fiction. I've been working mostly on actual novels lately but some short stories too.
