Author has written 11 stories for Mystery, General, Romance, Fantasy, Love, Haiku, Life, and Friendship.

I've stopped reviewing haiku in haiku form, since it doesn't really sound like serious reviews, and it's just so much effort...

Hey, I'm Abbytjie.

I do realise half of you won't read half of this, but that's ok. I hardly read anyone else's either. Therefore I won't bore you with my favourites (food, colour, celeberity...who cares?), but tell you about me as a writer and reviewer.

Reviewer

I don't believe in the word 'flame'. I think flames are stupid words inconsiderate writers make up who can't handle negative feedback. If you read anything of mine and don't like it, tell me. I have reviewed people and I know it's hard to say the pros and cons when the pros are...well...non-existent.

That being said, I WILL FLAME YOU. If I see nothing good about your story, you'll know. If I see nothing bad about it, you'll know too. I have been really nice so far but I have a new philosophy: to be blatantly and bluntly honest in every review I give.

I will not review every story I read. Sometimes ya just got nothing to say.

I also love to review, so if you want me to review any of your stories feel free to PM and ask...

Writer

I'm currently working on a complicated murder mystery with a twist of romance called Capable of Murder (or Capable among friends), but the plot is really complicated so I have a lot of kinks to work out before I publish it. A shout out to my good friend, Marisca, for helping me with this.

So for those of you that follow me (oh, you wonderful people!) or my stories (oh, you wonderful readers!) scroll down to the story you want to hear about (they're in alphabetical order) and I'll tell you what to expect from them:

A collection of haikus
I add to this all the time, and it's the story/poem(s) I have with the most reviews (more wonderful people!). I like my little haikus, because if I have something short and sweet to say I just rearrange the syllables, exchange a few synonyms and voilà! a poem.

Breathe deeply
I'm not really sure how I feel about this one. I'm going to change this a bit. It's all right, but not by best.

Forbidden for a reason
The summary of this story makes it sound weird, but I really love this. I wrote this for a school essay and the prompt was: "You're an old car looking back on your life." There was more, but I forgot it all. I decided the prompt was really boring and decided to write a story that wasn't.

I hope you see
My only poem that rhymes. I can recite it from memory. I really like this, but it's not my favourite.

Letters I would never send
This is ok, I guess. I've only written one chapter here so far, and I don't expect any more coming soon. However, poems like I hope you see and Shattered glass are like letters to people too.

Love is like paint
I still love the idea of this one, but I might change it too 'cos it's not what I pictured.

Not your usual
Random story that I'm not really focused on. I like the plot of it, but at the moment I'm not working on it. I may pick it up after I've figured out Capable of murder.

Roses
The worst poem I have ever written. I only keep it on here because I wrote it long ago and it gives me memories :) But don't read it, it's seriously bad. It'll hugely affect your opinion of me as a writer. Just don't.

Shattered glass
My favourite poem. I wrote it for my best friend. She read it and likes it, for those of you who are wondering (and I'm fairly sure none are).

The red mark of guilt
If you're planning on reading this, don't read the reviews. The whole point of it is the twist at the end, and someone gave it away in the reviews. So if you're planning on reading it, don't spoil it for yourself.

If you've actually read all the way to here, thank you for being a wonderful person.
I've overused the phrase 'wonderful person', haven't I?

P.S. Yes I've spelt colour with a U. Problem, Americans?
