About the Author

My name is Maya DeLuna, I am young and a girl and I love to read and write and fantasise. The only problem with writing is that I change my mind a lot; I jump on an idea too quickly, only to suck the life out of it and turn it sour. I'm unsure about anything so I am very indecisive and inconsistent. I will try my hardest, but I am not a good writer and I am never satisfied. I live in London, England with my family and I'm currently unemployed and not in school. I'll try to put this free time into good use.

Kira Stone is a teenage girl diagnosed with clinical depression. Innocent and detached, she is sent to see a therapist after trying to commit suicide and meets Tommy Bell, a self-satisfied young man that she finds herself fascinated by. Kira soon comes to realise that Tommy has a lot of issues himself and the two experience love and tragedy together as Kira learns what it truly means to be alive.
