For those of you who are curious about the basic personal details, here they are. My name is Wendy Marie and I'm a 36 year old Canadian woman. I'm a self-confessed news junkie, coffee addict and phone talker. Besides writing, the things I like are reading, photography, singing, cooking, and finding random interesting things on the internet. In real life, I'm a lawyer. I have a beautiful dog named Grace, who is basically my child (yes...I'm one of those people). I collect Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls and various other dolls, and I love to play simulation games. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I love to tell stories and make up things, and there is certainly plenty of inspiration from the real world, too! I've been a member of FanFiction.net for years and I've also been a member of various other online writing forums. Although I'm new to FictionPress, I consider myself an experienced writer. I'm alwaysopen to constructive feedback and comments! I like to read just about anything, but my favourite genres to read are mystery, science fiction, fantasy, and urban fantasy/supernatural. I also enjoy poetry and general fiction. I mostly write general fiction or poetry, but I have written a couple of mystery-ish stories that I hope to post here some day.
