Author has written 2 stories for Young Adult. Hello world and those who inhabit it :) Just some random facts about me . . . . (if you care) name: Carrie (duh) Age: 20 (I'm so old) college stuff: I'll soon have an A.A. in psychology. Will be transferring in January for my B.A. ff pen name: same as this one Pet: Simba the adorkable English Angora bunny. He's my baby, and he's a goober who eats too much. Now onto some more "unimportant" stuff. Just a little blurp about my writing: I've been writing fanfiction since I was 11-ish, and I kind of fell in love with it. When I was 16-ish, I started getting more "original" ideas, but they never got far. Recently, I've been working with one of the first original ideas I had, a supernatural trilogy called Bound. I wrote the 1st out in script form but I haven't had the time to rework it in novel form yet. Never Forget: This is the very first original story I've finished, and I'm really proud of it. I've been working hard on it since February, and it really is my baby. My favorite part of writing it was definitely the character progression. I watched Ash "grow up" through the course of it, and it was just an amazing experience. I cried so much while I wrote the story. I've never bonded to a character as much as I bonded to him, which is why it's told from his point of view. Letting Go: This is the prequel to Never Forget. It's currently a work in progress and isn't quite finished yet but it's close. This story takes place 3 and a 1/2 years before Never Forget, and it's told from Abby's point of view. It started out as a character exploration because Abby was just a really hard character for me to develop, so I wrote a few scenes from the past in her pov and then I realized how much of a back story I actually had and realized I could make it another story. Just like for Ash in Never Forget, in Letting Go you'll really see Abby grow and change a lot in this story. She is left to deal with a lot of things on her own after Ash leaves her, and she just really has to learn to be strong and gain her independence. When I finish it, I really hope to post it on here, and I hope you all enjoy :) | |||||||
