Lapari Caprise.

It's a weird name, I'll admit that myself. I got the name because 'Lapari' was the code that I had to put in to let me sign up for fictionpress. It doesn't mean anything, according to Google Translate and dictionary.com. But apparently, 'Lapar' means 'hungry' in Indonesian, and 'Caprice' means a 'whim' in French, so put together it kind of means 'Hungry on a whim.' It probably doesn't make sense, but the name sounds cool and it suits what I write for.

I know this might sound somewhat arrogant but I want to become the BL writer on fictionpress. It's a bit of a farfetched and perhaps selfish dream since I've only just joined but I want to be the one all the BL writers on fictionpress want to read or be reviewed by or even get tips from. I know it sounds stupid and I'm acting superior but being the youngest and under-estimated of my family, I want, for once, to be someone who is respected and well-known (albeit that I'm writing about erotic homosexual relations, but nevertheless). So please help me! I know I've still got a (hell of a) ways to go, and I may not have as many subscribers or favourites as other people but I'll be working hard. I want the name Lapari Caprise to be known. Please help me!

I promise that with each story I improve (or at least I hope, haha). When going back over the first one I published on FP I realise how much I can improve it. But who's to say that's not a good thing? Now I know what to work on. :)

I mainly write yaoi or guy-on-guy or M/M or lemon or whatever you'd like to call it, and hopefully no one has a problem with that, but I do plan on doing other works. Please read and review my work! I like getting reviews, good or bad, so I know where to improve and what you guys enjoy reading.

Please ignore the weirdness of my writing. There may be some American and some non-American English terms, because I grew up in New Zealand. You'll also find that I'll include both Metric and Imperial measurements, so people reading from America and outside of America like me can have an approximate understanding of the quantity/distances/height etc.

I know a lot of authors put author's notes at the end of their segments/chapters, but I'm not really one to do that. I've tried, and to me it feels weird. So after My Brother and I you'll notice that there won't be any author's notes at the end, just the chapters themselves and an unnaturally long Afterword as the last chapter of the story.

I can't guarantee you'll enjoy my work, although I'd love if you do but I DO PROMISE TWO THINGS:

-- The first is that all of my works are planned in advanced, so that nothing is written without previous thought to the future content, meaning that I will not leave a story unfinished (provided it is a story with a plot, and not a series or collection of one-shots). That is, unless I die suddenly (although I hope this situation can be avoidable), or anything along those lines.

-- The second is that I publish once a week on three o'clock of Saturday OF NEW ZEALAND TIME (allowing about half an hour for the site to update, apparently). Should I be late I apologise in advance as I might be in the unlikely occurrences that I'm away for some reason, giving me reason to publish late (or early). I have minionsthat update when I can't. Forgive them if they're a little bit off time as well.
