Wow. It's been a while since I've been on here.

The internet is a scary place, kids. People go all emo and post things that will scare you. I've done so myself.

Why do I write so much angst poetry? I don't know. Maybe I'm just a drama queen. Some of the stuff I write is "about my life," just multiplied by over nine thousand, and taken to the negative extremes. Other things I write to tell a story that I have in my head. It just so happens to be that few of those stories are cheerful and happy.

But seriously, though. Don't let my poetry get to you. I guess I was just writing a bunch of emotional crap because it seems everyone else in my family actually has mental problems except me. You know. Middle-child syndrome. It happens all the time.

I've grown older, though, and wiser... I hope. I know not to overdo things, and have learned that seeking attention via pretending I actually had worthwhile problems was overrated, and that it is much better in the long run to be happy, and to make others happy.

As you can tell, I'm a fan of the Golden Rule, as well as Hugo's law: If you are feeling miserable, and someone does something to you as if a miracle has been granted upon yourself, spread the happiness to someone else.

I love Jean Valjean. He's my role model, real or not as he may be. If everyone thought like Jean Valjean then the world would be such a better place.

Well, anyway, since this is my profile, I'll give you guys a bit about me: I am an ordinary girl. Rather, I don't want to be, and don't think myself as such, but in retrospect I suppose I'm nothing more than ordinary. Oh well. We're all ordinary, even people like Hitler and Mother Teresa. A lot of people always associate me with that kind of girl who acts funny all the time, perhaps for attention, and with the mind of a child even though her actions speak differently. (A smart alec, pretty much.) Sometimes it's okay, but... if I could choose who people saw me as, I would want my first impression on people to be a quiet, intelligent girl with a bit of humorous wit somewhere deep down, getting funnier and more cheerful as they come to know me. Sometimes I even want - dare I say it - respect. But, ehh. What can you do, I still act weird and can't help it.

I just wish some people would give me a chance to show my true self. I just need a little time to find out what it is, that's all.

I am an ordinary girl, and although I don't have any dramatic backstories of my parents being abusive toward me or evil bullies on the school playground, I still have stories to tell, as we all do. It doesn't matter whether you impress and shock people with your stories, really. If you know that something isn't actually true, then it's called a "story." But some things that happened to people are true. And that's okay. But their experiences don't make them any better than any of us.

Each one of you are special, and bad things that have happened to you don't define who you are. Take what you've learned from your experiences and make something good out of it. Save someone else. Make the world smile.

I say this mostly for myself, because if I don't write it down, then it probably won't stick in my head.

NEVER judge others. You can't judge people by how they act, what they look like, where they come from, or anything else. A lot of the time, and it is true, people bottle up how they really feel so you can't be sure you know ANYONE to their full extent.

This doesn't mean that people who are naturally happy and peppy are guarenteed to be harboring a deep backstory. In fiction, it's clever the first time, but after a while… it's just a little overdone and predictable. Is it so impossible for someone to be in a constant happy mood without having any emo reason behind it?

Oh wait, what am I saying. It's fiction.

Okay. 5/11/13. I just finished writing out a little motto of mine, GO LIVE CAREFULLY. A lame acronym, but I couldn't think of anything else, okay?

GIVE second chances, to yourself especially
OPEN your mind to possibilities, your heart to kindness, and your eyes to the good in the world

LOVE every living creature, because they love you too (even if you don’t yet know it)
INSPIRE yourself to do great things
VOICE your true and honest opinions
EVICT your silly negative thoughts

CARE for others, and you’ll be able to care for yourself
ACCEPT others without judging them
RETURN every bit of happiness you receive
EVERYDAY smile, because your smile is beautiful
FORGIVE the world and everyone
UNDERSTAND that people may live differently than you because that’s the way it is
LISTEN to the wise words of others, regardless of who they are
LAUGH because laughter is music
YOU bring light into someone’s life

1. Humans or Dolls
We blindly follow in each others' footsteps, thinking that it's right because everyone else does it. Really, we are just dolls. We live to entertain someone by killing each other until the life is taken out of us, and we go back to being the clump of cloth we once were.
