Once upon a time, back in high school, I had a FictionPress account. The other evening, I was looking through it and realized that, while I didn't want to delete the stories I had there (mostly for posterity), I certainly couldn't upload newer, better, more polished writing there as well.

In light of this fact, I have decided to create a new pen name and account, to better reflect the work I am now capable of.

I am about to graduate from college. I have studied studio art, performance art, and Italian studies. To be a little more descriptive, I am interested in mask-making, the psychology behind mask work, clowning, circus arts, cultural identity, the importance of family, the multi-faceted-ness of womanhood, and the power of comedy.

I had intended to study creative writing in college, actually, but found that many other doors were opened for me. I do, however, still have a profound love of writing, and in an effort to strengthen my skills, I look very forward to becoming a part of this community once again.
