Recently, I began writing again. How strange is that? I don't think I've lost much of my skill, but I'll just keep trying to get better. I have a lot of ideas in my head, and although I was concentrating on my art for a while, I plan to start combining the two. (My secret dream is to be a manga artist... shh, don't tell, okay? I haven't even admitted this one to myself yet!)
I'm obviously a big manga fan, and that's probably the biggest influence on me besides real-life. I don't read as much as I used to (I used to read constantly, every single second of my free time!) unless you count manga. =niko= The authors/artists that have had the deepest impression on me currently would be Patricia McKillip, Brian Froud, Ari Berk, Neil Gaiman, Maki Murakami, Kazuya Minekura (whom I WORSHIP as a GODDESS, btw...) Kinuko Y. Craft, Amy Brown, Hiroyuki Utatane, Sanami Matou... Er, I could go on forever, but I'm sure this is starting to bore you. So!
I'm also a fencer. Addicted to it, actually. I'd rather fence than do anything else. Even eat, though I like that a lot, too. Send me Strawberry Pocky if you love me!
I'd like to thank all my friends for their support of me. Lately my life has been shifting around wildly, and I'm so lucky I have people I can hold on to. Also, I want to personally thank anyone that takes the time to either read my stories or comment on my art--I do appreciate each and every one, even if I don't always find the time to reply. I also love all four of my beautiful kitties. I should add that, too, right?

Thanks for visiting me! (BTW, niko means 'smile.' It's a pretty common 'sound effect' in manga, though I avoid using Japanese words in my stories unless they are used by a Japanese character, because I understand how annoying that can get.)
