About: I am nineteen year old girl writing down her issues on a piece of paper and publishing here on fictionpress. I love to write, I've been writing since I was a small child and along with this, I love to read. Both reading and writing helps me go into a new world and explore it in a unique way. Yes a lot of my writing will be Angsty, romance, and heartbreaking. I do write about cutting, death, rape, and anything that deals with "Dark Themed" subjects.

I have lost internet and cannot reply to reviews via site networking so, I am going to be sending newsletters every TWO WEEKS for my readers. Currently the stories names are now officially changed and the Memory series have been renamed to The Scars and Memories Series the titles featured are called, Painful Memories, Swimming Home. Currently there are a few plot bunnies’ ideas for more in the near future for this story. We Found Love in Drugs story titles also have new official names-Lost and Found, Damaged, Forever and Always.

The two series plus the newest one I am currently working on will be featured in my book Voices in the Darkness I am writing that I will self-publish after it is finished. My poetry will also be featured in the second book called Shadows Within the Light that will be featuring twenty new, never read before poems.

I am currently writing the poems and am having a hard time with it so it may be awhile before both books are published. I am currently in the process of writing a new series called The Dysfunctional Series that will feature all the characters from WFLID and TSAMS and tie into all the other series with all questions and the mystery of Shadow’s past answered.

Here are some common questions I would like to clear up and not have to be asked again repeatedly.

How many stories are in the series for TDFS?

Six including the epilogue, ideas are welcome.

What kind of stories are these?

Drabble (five hundred words or less for each chapter.)

How did you come up with the titles?

I just thought of the titles and song names, lyrics, put them together with the word Memories, and tweaked around with them.

Will it be the same writing format as WFLID and TSAMS?

I keep trying to make them like novel length and regular writing styles but I am thinking it will be the same writing style as this one.

How did you come up with the three series?

When I first wrote WFLID series I was listening to We found love by Rhianna and it just clicked into my head that I wanted to write a story of two people falling in love and struggle with their lives as underage druggies, alcoholics, and self-harmers. Before I knew it, the words were flowing out into my word document before I could comprehend what I was fully writing.

For the Scars and Memories Series, I was trying to think of a poem idea when the first three lines came in mind so I typed them up and continued from there. The sequel Swimming Home was the hope of getting a successful conclusion for the women who had been through so much in such a short life span and get her own happy conclusion.

Let me say that when writing the new series, I began it by using this idea for it; “The Dysfunctional Series is about four teens that are desperate to find excitement in their lives; the boring town of SamWalkns is not enough for the four friends. When they stumble upon Dysfunctional City, their lives are twisted and turned until nothing is left.”

When writing the idea down for this series I knew that this would be something that would relate to my life one way or another. Therefore, I began to make the characters, the plot, the settings, the twists, and turns. I finally found that if I was going to make this better then the first two I needed to make the story written much like a drabble, short but sweet chapters, not like the first two series that are in poetry verse. Even though writing the series in drabbles like any other book or story it may look like the writing style I normally use, it is not.

Why the idea of making all three connected?

I loved the idea of making all three series connected somehow or someway, the reason behind this they all have drinking, cutting, underage sex, drugs, drinking issues, and some reason they all become family when all the drama is finished.

If they were addicted to their addictions, why do they do it every year?

Every New Year eve they get together and do this to say, “I’ve overcome this so it won’t bother me anymore.” Of course there is always a chance of relapsing that is why they all to a therapist the day after the event.

What is the addiction that they have/had?

This is by character and addictions some of them are or will not be mentioned in any story.

Lily: Weed, drinking, Cigarettes, this was not mentioned in the stories because this is what happened in the five-year gap another reason why she went rehab was because Lily was snorting pills to get high since Max stopped selling the Weed.

Max: Weed, Cigarettes, drinking, this is not mentioned in any story but he did have an addiction of having sex to hide the pain he was feeling before meeting Lily.

Shadow: Sex, Weed, Cutting, drinking, this is not mentioned in any of the sequels but the prequel Falling to Pieces it foreshadows his addiction of gaming.

Riley: Cutting, snorting pills both reasons why she was put into rehab.

Spike and Lacey: both bored an addiction for weed and drinking before they stopped

What is the setting for each series?

They are all based in 2013 somewhere off the coast of California where drugs, sex, property, and gangs rule the neighbor hood.

What rehab center did they go to, is it real or fake?

San Francisco Rehabilitation Center for self-harmers, drug addicts, and drinkers (SFRC) I made it up.
