Do you see that girl? She sits in the back of the coffee shop. There's an open journal on her table, a pen poised in her hand. She occasionally takes a sip from her iced coffee, and the caffeine serves to instigate her creativity. While she rarely speaks, she is always listening and watching, carefully observing the world around her.

Say hi to her if you wish. She'll smile back and invite you to take a seat.

Seven things to know about me...

One) I obsess. A lot. Whenever I start to like something, I become so obsessed with it that it's almost frighteningly sick. However, though these passions are intense, they are usually short lived.

Two) I love reading and writing. Remember how I said my passions normally don't last long? Well, reading and writing are two obsessions that have never gone away.

Three) I love photography. This has just started, so it's hard to tell if this obsession is here to stay or just a particularly strong one, but either way, I'm fascinated by it. All the covers for my stories are my own work (but not my profile picture, I'm afraid), and if you happen to want me to do one for you, just ask! I'd be happy to!

Four) I'm a bit awkward. I think that's a requirement for writers, so it doesn't bother me too much. Still, I don't operate very well in social situations, and I just hope I don't freak too many people out.

Five) I have serious issues with wanderlust. It's always been my dream to go to Europe, and my 'places to see' list is ridiculously long. Basically, I just want to live in a car/airplane.

Six) Despite my love for traveling, I'm hopeless when it comes to directions. Even after I got my license, my parents never let me go anywhere by myself because they knew I'd get lost. Thank goodness for Google maps!

Seven) I have an unhealthy relationship with caffeine...as in, I drink way too much. Coffee, tea, coke... I practically live off the stuff. Sometimes I think my veins flow with just caffeine.

NOTICE

So there is a very special story out there called "Stars at Dawn" and there is a very special writer of said story known as MagicWords. This writer is a great friend of mine, and we actually have an interesting history together, but that's not important right now. What's important is that she is publishing her novel!

I can't begin to describe how happy I am for her. She is following through with her dreams, reaching for the stars, and I am just so proud.

So, in conclusion, I would just like everyone to know that there is a mind-blowing novel called "Stars at Dawn" out there, and I highly recommend that everyone read it. It is well worth the time, and the story...well, it just takes you away.
