Author has written 17 stories for Fantasy, Humor, Sci-Fi, and Kids.

You are most likely to find me sitting on the front porch of my house with a cup of tea. I enjoy writing. It does not quite pay the bills, but I have faith that it eventually will.

I also enjoy travelling, riding my moped, cuddling with my German Shepherd (Juneau), fencing, primitive archery, horseback riding, Tae Kwon Do, snowboarding, and getting lost in the woods or the mountains for weeks at a time.

I love computers, of which there are somewhere between four and six in my house (an untold number of hard drives). I loathe Microsoft.

I am always on Facebook, reddit, IRC, or somewhere else filled with uselessness.

My writing is full of cliches, but I don't try to hide them. I take them out and make them jump through hoops, because that amuses me. I also like to shoot people with Chekov's Gun. My favorite writers are Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Roger Zelazny, Robert Asprin, Garth Nix, Terry Pratchett, and Jim Butcher. I do snarky banter. If I make you laugh, it's a win.

In the mundane world, I am a museum curator and a historian. I write and occasionally publish American History stuff about early settlers and gunfighters and whatnot. Personally, I prefer Tokugawa/Meiji Japanese History & 13th - 18th century European History to American History. However, if you do have random questions about cowboys and pioneers - YES, YES I CAN!

I adore cooking (CURRY & PANCAKES are my specialities), theoretical physics, astronomy, my GIANT boa constrictor (Leonard), photography, COSTUMES, hats (especially fedoras), sewing, drawing, comics, Manga and Anime, Highlander, Doctor Who, Firefly, Star Trek, Korean soap operas (although I don't speak much Korean), Role-Playing Games - (Shadowrun, VTM, D&D and Exalted), Steampunk, Gothic & Industrial couture, Renaissance Faires, Cons, and SCA.

I can take criticism, but please make it constructive. If you comment on my stories using profanity, your comments will be removed.

I appreciate all of the feedback I have received, but do please note that some stories are marked with a date such as (2001).

Some of these are extremely old and were written when I was 15 - 16 years old. I think (and I hope) that I have improved as a writer somewhat since then. I don't intend to go back and correct/improve the very old stories - they are up here chiefly because my friends or siblings asked about them.
