I have written a book!

Himura Kaori, the transfer student. A model student with perfect grades and looks who is well loved by the class at first sight, it seems like her final high school year will be a smooth sailing one. Yamada Shin, the class outcast. A delinquent who either sleeps in the corner of the class or simply does not show up for class. Against the advice of the class, Kaori set herself on a path to engage Shin at all costs to achieve her desire of a united class. Amidst melancholic music from a violin, neon lit arcade and alcohol at a bar, the two cross path and are set on an emotional rollercoaster. The girl who refuses to give up and challenges conventions is set against a boy who cannot be bothered about his life.

Set in a suburban high school, The Rising Sun is a story of two high school students’ relationship as they each deal with their troubled pasts they have been running away from, slowly come to accept the presence of each other, and finally help each other overcome their obstacles in their lives.
