Once upon a time, in a nearby pond, there lived a faint-hearted duckling. The little duckling always watched her fellow ducklings do many amazing things and thought to herself, "I wish I could do things like that."

One day, when the duckling was watching the others in envy, a small thought crept into her mind to whisper, "You can do all those things. All you have to do is try."

Her heavy heart lifted and she flapped her wings in excitement. "I can do those things too!"

So she did and although the things she tried to do didn't go perfectly the first time, she kept to it because trying and failing is the only way to get better.
