The Writing:

I started writing fan fiction more than ten years ago and still hold an account under the same pen name (MadameCissy). I have about 20 stories published there, mainly for the Harry Potter fandom. One of my on-going stories there has turned into a fantasy trilogy.
Two years ago I first took part in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and produced a short novel with 55,000 words in just seven days, titled "Sins of the Mother". The story was weak and will never see the light of day but I had challenged myself and I had succeeded.
In 2011 I decided to take part again. I drafted up a crime thriller novel titled "Deception" and wrote it in just under two weeks, with around 80,000 words. I started editing it but then became dissatisfied with the whole novel and abandoned the remainder of the proces. I have now decided to touch it up around the edges and post it online. In the proces, I changed the original title to "Counterclockwise."
This year I will be taking part in NaNoWriMo for a third time and I plan to write a fantasy novel, set in a completely undiscovered world. Throughout my recent fanfiction stories I think I may have discovered that I feel most comfortable within a fantasy setting, less bound by the restrictions of real life.

"Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart."
