Author has written 13 stories for Fantasy, General, and General. So much of this is terrible. Looking back on it I regret so terribly, terribly much of what I wrote. Albrecht is alright, though it displays my fundamental inability to work with characters. Mirror, Mirror is a laudable Idea but lackluster execution. The rest is pretty much trash. Oh, Rising has a good line, and Avarice I still love, but my loving it is a failing of mine not a virtue of its. Life Within the Window barely hints at what it was the genesis of, and really, its only good if you worked on it as long as feverishly as I did. None of the work -translates- which might be what frustrates me so very much. Let's all agree Right Now that Swift should never have been written. It reads like a laundry list of bad ideas strung together with akward language. Not is ignorant. Just ignorant of what stories are, should be, should look like. I hadn't even read Hamlet when I wrote the godforsaken thing. Christ in his powers. I have written...4. 4 things that I am happy with, really happy with. Albrecht counts, I suppose, as one of them. Let It Rain is not one of them. To hell with Let It Rain. What a terrible, poisonous idea it represents. Glassjaw said it first, better, and didn't buy into it. Thank god neither did I.
