Name's Sophie, baby. I'm 18.

I'd been writing fanfiction for a couple of years when I started wondering what I could do without the weird restriction. I'd always found poetry pretty vague and dry until I read When Man Enters Woman by Anne Sexton and I was awakened from childhood dormancy I didn't know existed. Then I wrote some impressively awful stuff of my own and didn't write anything for ages. Then I grew up a bit and loved a lot more than I ever had and then stuff changed. I write a lot of poetry now, but I've only really just started doing it properly. I don't know a lot of clever words, techniques or jargon, and I doubt I'll ever be arsed to make the attempt to, so it is what it is.
