Author has written 1 story for Romance. Hi, I'm Arieta41. Nice to meet y'all. For some reason, writer's block always kicks in when it comes to writing profiles, lol. But here goes anyway. Read if you want (if you want to know that badly! :) *this also means you will have to put up with my fangirly rants* :P Oh ... and hehe ... too lazy so you may notice this is mostly the SAME PROFILE I have on FFNet (under the same username :P) Name: I have too many names, but I like to go by my pen name (Arieta, Ari) cause I'm okay with it. Oh, but I really, really love that name Jane. It's just so beautiful in its own way. And you know, Jane Eyre, Jane and the Dragon, yeah... so many great Janes out there. Who knows, I may change my name to Jane one day ... Age: Guess. No, lol. I can be young or old, depending on the situation, I guess. (I'm a shapeshifter, don't you see?) Hehe. Judging from my brash writing style though ... :) What else should I put here? Hmmm ... I'm a Madrigal :P Favorite color: Gray. Just because ... :) Favorite music? Generally, if it sounds all right and doesn't burst my eardrums, then I'm good. (Of course, if you listen to some songs too long your eardrums may burst eventually! So watch out, earbud users! Haha) Most of my top songs just come off of Youtube, and don't even have words to them (they're more like soundtracks, so yeah), but it's all cool! I luv them! Even more than songs with words! (Except Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd - that made me almost cry) Yes, I may be deprived, but I am perfectly fine with it! Okay! Just because I was itching to post this - my fave songs! Snapdragon by Nemesis Theory, Existence by XsToRmEr1, The Beginning of Time by Dj-Nate, Last Forever by Dj-Nate, Mountain Flowers by F-777, Crying Soul by BOUNC3, Voyager by BOUNC3 - yes, I could listen to them ALL DAY LONG!!!! I also have a strange obsession with matching songs/soundtracks with stories/books that I've read. :P Like, "Soaring the Wind" by F-777 with The Three Musketeers, "Snapdragon" by Nemesis Theory with War and Peace, and "Mountain Flowers" by F-777 with awesome stories like False Facades, Through Me, and other miscellaneous romances of the same type. Oh, and "The Beginning of Time" by Dj-Nate with The Outsiders. Yeah. (By the way, these are more like tunes, no words, but they are SOOOO awesome!!! They can be found on Youtube.) Oyes, and I LOVE ONE DIRECTION!!!! :DDDDDD Must fangirl. Favorite books: The Three Musketeers FOREVER AND EVER AND EVERRRR!!!! YESSSSS!!! Also HARRY POTTER!!! And Jane Eyre, and Wuthering Heights, and ... OMGGG!!!! So sorry, must go and fangirl for several more hours! I just love adventure books, and funny books, and romance books, and if there's all three in one, then ... *fangirl squeal* I could read a whole library-ful! It is just too awesome that way! Yes, I am rambling ... Hmmm, can't really think of any other books ... oh yeah, if it's a classic, it's generally okay by me. Oh yes, I just remembered DAVID COPPERFIELD!!!!! AND OLIVER TWIST! AND GREAT EXPECTATIONS! (though I never finished) AND THAT NEW BOOK (WAKE) BY AMANDA HOCKING! IT'S SO AWESOME AND I DON'T THINK I CAN EVEN WAIT TILL JULY TO READ THE NEXT ONE!!! All right, fangirling time over. I am your average nerd of any age. Yes, I like reading nonfiction, too. Like science books. And yes (shh) the world history textbook, too. :P Favorite movies: Honestly, I haven't watched the Three Musketeers, even though I wrote stories on that. (Shhh) But there wasn't even an option for The Three Musketeers, the book! Ah well. I read the summary and based some of it off the book, so it's all good. I like a lot of movies, like Up, Pursuit of Happyness, Of Mice and Men, (call me a nerd if you like, I won't mind and I won't hear), but I just love movies that have just the right combination of happiness, humor, and some sadness and how the characters overcome their obstacles, you know? And if it makes me cry, then ... well ... it depends, but I usually like it anyway if it's that meaningful. I like a variety of movies, in a variety of languages, so yeah. I can't really list them all here. If I include TV shows in here, though ... Ben 10! Johnny Test! Jane and the Dragon! Big Time Rush (The guys are so funny!) and Victorious (I am young at heart, okay!) I am also very ashamed to admit that I like Modern Family ... just a teensy, tiny bit! But I am NOT going to let those characters rub off on me, that is all! Favorite ... what? Hobbies? Hmmm, I'm not sure ... but I love love love to write! :D (but not when the word 'essay' is involved) I also like to draw, especially the characters for stories and such. (But none of my art will ever be as good as some of those DeviantArt pieces ... omg, those are masterpieces!) If any of you have DeviantArt, good, I guess, but it's so time-consuming, isn't it? Just don't let it take up too much of your time. Your life doesn't have to revolve around looking at art instead of making your own. And you could be doing something better .. like writing! :D Oh yes, and I absolutely love reading fanfictions and fictions and other books and newspapers and such. And music ... I just love listening to music, but sadly, I am not very good with musical instruments. I would love to play the guitar, but that would probably never happen ... but I do play the piano a little in my spare time! Piano sounds so good too! And with a piano keyboard, I can make all sorts of instrument sounds, so I can just pretend I'm playing a whole new instrument! YEAH! Favorite manga/anime: I am very ashamed to say that I don't really know much about manga/anime. But I'm catching up! :D I do read graphic novels, and my favorites so far are Arina Tanemura's FullMoon and Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne (I love her drawings!). There's also a manga called Emma (I forgot the author's name, but it begins with a K - oh yes, Kaoru Mori) that deals with a girl growing up as a servant in a Victorian setting, and how she meets and falls in love with a rich guy (and the difficulties that they face because of England's emphasis on social class). Yes, romance figures a lot in this too! (But never the inappropriate kind ... you know! No, not that, just no. True love, yes.) Favorite games: Uh, no. Just no. No, no, no. I have had a really really bad experience with games, so I will never ever touch a video game/computer game/etc. of any type again as long as I live. They have permanently scarred me. And yes, I do have a few fanfictions on DragonFable, which is a game ... but the plotlines I had from years ago, when I used to play ... but I don't play now! I just wanted to keep the story I made up! It was pretty much the only good memory I had of that time. Favorite quotes: Happiness.org. Repost if you like. I’ve learned … That love means 'to let be', not 'to fix and improve'. I’ve learned … That when we love, it heals. I’ve learned … That the best classroom in the world is the present moment. I’ve learned … That anyone who smiles looks beautiful. I’ve learned … That I can’t choose how I feel, but I can be present with all states of body and mind. I’ve learned … That while we may want to live on top of the mountain, all the happiness and growth occurs while we are climbing it. I’ve learned … That it is wonderful to speak to improve on the silence. I’ve learned … That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done. Yes .. those are my favorite quotes of all time. Oh yes, and by the way, I am on Fanfiction, under the same name, if any of you are interested in reading my stories ... sadly I don't know how to include the link in here, it failed these first three tries ... D: Is there anything else? I suppose not. Anyway, nice to meet you all! :DD At first, I was simply here to enjoy my favorite stories, but I've been writing lately and I've just published a story of my own! :DDD Take a look if you like. Hope you like it! | |||||
