Author has written 6 stories for Horror, Young Adult, General, and Romance.

I am a young, unpublished writer from the state of South Carolina who would like very much to do this for a living but is not particularly set on it as a profession.

My favorite genres are horror/thriller, science fiction, crime fiction, dystopian fiction, and realistic fiction. I find some weird satisfaction and peace in dwelling on the darker moments of life, and thus this often shows up in my writing. Death, sadness, depression, loss, the evils of humanity, and the like are very common themes in my writing and much of my writing carries an unspoken warning of this. If you don't like having the bad parts of life brought to your attention, chances are you are no fan of mine. I do however try not to be overly dark and morbid, and I try to keep trigger warnings clear and visible on everything I feel warrants them. I do not often put warnings on stories that are just purely self-serving gore, so be on the watch for that and proceed into my stories categorized as horror with caution if you don't like that.

I am a very progressive person, and this shows itself in my writing. I am a feminist against slut-shaming, anti-LGBTQ hate, rape apology, etc. and I am unapologetically and unfailingly pro-choice. I am extremely supportive of the LGBTQ community and I find it therapeutic to express the LGBTQ struggle as best as I can in some stories, such as Martyrdom. If you are a strong and adamant conservative, you're probably not my biggest fan, and I'm probably not yours. But I would really appreciate it if flames and personal attacks or attacks against the feminist/LGBTQ/liberal community were kept far away from my writing and my inbox.

I do write fanfiction but I do not write it much now, and even less often do I actually publish it. However, I do have a fanfiction.net account with the same penname (Alley Kearn) as this account. I also have a tumblr dedicated to all of my writings, be they original works or fanfiction, prose or poetry, etc. which can be found at writingsonthealleywall.tumblr.com. If you're a fan of my work and you have a tumblr, I would love it if you followed me. New followers and new fans and just people showing interest in my work make me very, very happy and motivate me to write more.
