I've come to realize recently, that escapism can be, and is, frowned upon. Why would it be frowned upon if it helps me get into a whole new world outside my life? Maybe, it's frowned upon because in reality I'm just running away. How cheesy and dramatic, but unfortunately true. This is my story of why I need escapism.
